  • John Friesen

Graduating with a degree in Leisure Studies (University of Waterloo) has been the springboard for a diversity of vocational experiences from managing the operations of a large theme park (Bingemans) to consulting for the tourism industry (with the Economic Planning Group of Canada).  After serving as Executive Director of Fair Havens Ministries for nine years, John has moved into a shared leadership role as CEO of Muskoka Bible Centre, while remaining Executive Director of Fair Havens Ministries.  God’s provision and guidance through these experiences has uniquely equipped him to understand the challenges and joys of leading visionary Kingdom ministry programming while at the same time managing the day to day business of facility and services based organizations.  Both John and his wife Lisa thoroughly enjoy the day to day blessings of life with the five wonderful, high energy children who inhabit their household (Caleb,17; Joshua, 15; Jodi, 12; Melissa, 10; Rebekah, 7).

If you are authentic, you don’t have to say you’re authentic.

    • If you say you’re authentic, then you’d better be authentic.
    • It’s easier to be authentic, if you don’t say you’re authentic.
