Portage Promotionals (South Portage Group) is a proud supporter of CCI and an active member. We have attended
your Kananaskis conference as an exhibitor on 2 occasions, and regional events when we have been given the
opportunity. We are looking forward to your November conference at Mount Orford. One of the major differences
between CCI conferences and secular camp conferences that we also attend as an exhibitor is the opportunity to
participate in some of the ongoing activities. In particular, I enjoy the morning devotional services. What
a great opportunity to set aside our commercial hat and be at one with our God. The ecumenical experience is
awesome as Christians from so many denominations share in the one thing we all have in common, a relationship
with Jesus Christ. This spills over into conversations at meal time, and even back at our booth. Many friendships
have resulted from the opportunity to share in our common beliefs.
Being a member of CCI doesn't guarantee business with CCI members. However, when camps in Atlantic and Western
Canada deal with us as an Ontario based business, I know that the relationship is more than just price. And, a
phone call from an upbeat person like Christine Long just kind of makes my day.
Keep up the good work CCI !
